Lavinia Biagiotti participates in Oviesse’s Make Love With project
7 November 2012 – Lavinia Biagiotti was delighted to accept to participate in the MAKE LOVE WITH project, which OVS launches on the occasion of World AIDS Day to help raise funds for UNAIDS’s Getting to Zero campaign.
Lavinia Biagiotti is joined by others from the younger generations of international fashion: Rachele Cavalli, Louis Marie de Castelbajac, Maria Sole Ferragamo, Marta Ferri, Alessandra Gucci, Alice Lemoine, Talitha Puri Negri, Lola Toscani, Rocco Toscani and Francesca Versace, who together designed an exclusive capsule collection for OVS of tops and T-shirts inspired by the fund-raising event. Each designer interpreted the theme according to her or his aesthetic taste. The same designers will wear the collection’s 11 items when they feature in the advertising campaign photographed by Rocco Toscani.
The capsule collection will be available as from December 1st – World AIDS Day – in OVS stores and online at ovs.it/makelovewith.
“I accepted to participate in OVS’s Make Love With project with great enthusiasm. AIDS is sometimes considered a problem of the past and yet it is tragically topical. The synergy between creativity and communication, expressed through such a widely-loved piece of clothing as the T-shirt, helps to refocus the spotlight on preventive measures and to raise funds. I am really happy to have worked with young talents – colleagues and friends – with a joyous sense of team spirit! Fashion is one of our country’s major assets, a great team that plays together to produce outstanding results. In this case, the objective is an oxymoron: the campaign theme is Getting to ZERO, but zero has never been of such enormous value!”
