On Monday, May 3, 2010, Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna has received the Premio Simpatia award for the fashion category. This prestigious award conceived by Domenico Pertica, the journalist/ author and expert on Rome, has become one of the symbols of the Eternal City.
The awardees were selected by a prestigious jury that included Gigi Proietti, Carlo Bixio, Giorgio Assumma, Carlo Gianni, Gigi Magni, Marisela Federici, Alessandro Nicosia, Christian De Sica and Micol Fontana. The event, hosted by Miranda Martino and Pino Strabioli, will also present awards to Carabinieri, State Police, Firefighters, Financial Police, and City Police for the Armed Forces, and to German Ambassador Michael Steiner; Professor Umberto Veronesi, Carlo and Enrico Vanzina, Carlo Verdone, Elsa Martinelli, Claudia Gerini, Ornella Vanoni, Massimo Ranieri, and Giuliano Razzoli, gold medalist at the Vancouver Olympics 2010.
