Swing & Swing: golfers and dancers, together at Marco Simone Golf Club
The stars of Italy’s “Dancing with the Stars”, headed by Simone Di Pasquale, revealed dancing secrets to club members.
Keep dancing and you’ll find yourself on the green! An important event called Swing & Swing that combined golfing and dancing took place at Golf Marco Simone over the weekend. Simone Di Pasquale, the star of the Italian version of “Dancing with the Stars”, together with dancers from his school -- Daniela Ayala, Agnese Junkure, Victoria Martin, Giada Giacomoni, Ilaria Segoni, Davide Di Nezza, Fabrizio Graziani and Simone Pigliacelli – revealed the secrets of dance to the many aspiring dancers of the club and they also took their first golfing lessons.
The event co-created by Lavinia Biagiotti Cigna and Simone Di Pasquale (who is about to expand his “personal dancer” studio to include Golf Marco Simone) was multifaceted. The dancer introduced his staff to the more than five hundred club members in two phases. In the morning, golf lessons were offered to golfers and even the dancers tried their hand at the sport. In the afternoon, dance lessons began in the rooms of the club. Marco Simone club members, people curious about dance or who never danced before, and Marco Simone golf pros Gianluca and Stefano Pietrobono and Fabrizio Cecchetti participated.
Many of Di Pasquale’s students and members of other famous sports clubs in Rome such as Antico Tiro a Volo, Canottieri Aniene, and Tennis Club Parioli also came to the splendid golf course on the Palombarese road. Making an appearance in the morning were also Francesca Schiavone, Natalia Titova with Massimiliano Rosolino and their daughter Sofia, Stefano and Annalisa Di Filippo, Nicola Pietrangeli, Samanta Togni, the Vice President of AltaRoma Valeria Mangani with her husband Adolfo Panfili and journalist Alberto Luca Recchi.
The enjoyable day was fantastic for socializing and also an unmissable chance to take free golfing lessons in one of the most beautiful courses of the Eternal City, Golf Marco Simone, which wants to use dancing to create innovative occasions for its members but also for people who are newcomers to golf.
Simone Di Pasquale, an internationally renowned dancer and TV star who has been at the top of his profession for years, has created a new entertainment formula based on dancing. Exclusive and appealing, it is suitable for all ages. Personal Dancer consists of specific courses (both group and individual) that aim to encourage people to dance to improve their relationship with their body and their communicative potential. It allows the students to perform a final choreographed number and, if they wish, to participate in a show with their instructors.
