THE CAMPAIGN

The new commercial, filmed in black and white by the director Paul Mignot, is a modern fairy tale that reveals the unique feeling of Rome where past & present meet together, that sensation of enjoying life, of owning the city, the city of “Dolce Vita” and lets one discover the essence of truly unforgettable moments. The journey starts at Piazza di Spagna to the Lungotevere and on the Ponte Sant´Angelo where “She”, Davinia Pelegri, who can easily take one’s breath away with her stunning Mediterranean beauty, encounters “Him”, Oriol Elcacho. This authenticity is also captured within the print advertising by the photographer Signe Vilstrup who steals the intimate sensual moments between the lovers and frame it beautifully in a black and white Polaroid icon. A true snapshot of unforgettable moments of sensuality, elegance and of course a modern “Dolce Vita”.




MAKING OF

THE DESIGN

Faithful to ROMA iconic bottles, the flacons are inspired by the Roman architectural heritage. For the female version, the glass bottle remains with its delicate column shape that reminds one of mystic glance of a temple, but this time the color of the glass is an elegant champagne topped off with a luxurious golden cap. For the male version, the bottle represents the Pantheon, which is the strength of Rome, but this time the color of the glass is an elegant dark brown and the silver metal cap rounds off the premium impression. The outer packaging continues the modern theme: the luxury cues of the metal insertion recall the Roman street plates.
THE RESTORATIONS
